CHRISTMAS BANQUET This year the Christmas
Banquet will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel on November 29, 2008.
The prices for dinner
tickets are: $67.50 each or 2 for $125.00. Cocktails at 6:00PM with Dinner at 7:00PM We will be having a
Silent and a Live Auction Come join us for a night of fun and Christmas cheer!!! Rooms will be available for a rate of $89.00 per night. Please R.S.V.P. for rooms with Cochanna Barnes, Embassy Suites Hotel at 720-587-5094 (reference TRPC Banquet for room rate) by 11/14/08 for the discounted room rate. the TRPC Board wants you to participate in all the festivities, although we strongly encourage you to either rent a room or have a designated driver if you are planning to consume any alcoholic beverages. New Board Members
The TRAA Roadside Safety: Everyone Goes Home DVD is in. Please contact me either email or phone: 303-665-6775 to get one sent to you. They are $15.00 per DVD. The 2007-2008 TRPC Membership Directories are also in. They are $3.00 for one and $5.00 for two. CDOT has installed a lot of cable guard rail on I-70 and I-25. This cable is under a lot of tension even when it is off of the hangers. If we have an accident where a vehicle gets entangled with the guardrail, do not cut the cable. We need to notify CDOT before any of these cables are cut. The danger is in cutting a cable that is under tension as significant weight can cause the cable to recoil and whip that could result in serious or fatal injury.
